Event will take place @ Delano Heritage Center (140 Bridge Ave East - across from city hall, please use 2nd St. entrance)$10.00 if purchased by March 9th or $12 after March 9th or at the door.
This is a fund raising event for the Delano Elementry School PIE. Proceeds will go directly to the school to purchase materials needed to create a leveled library system and future Art & Science Residency programs. Toast to Art is an adult-oriented event. You must be 21 years or older to attend.
- At Rieder Meat Market in Delano, not much has changed in 100 years, and that’s a good thing. “We do it the old-fashioned way,” owner Laurence “Bud” Rieder, Jr. said, pointing out his handwritten orders, steaks cut to customer preference, and a wooden desk in the corner that’s been around for at least 70 years.

The Delano Sons of the American Legion will be hosting a Mothers Day omelet breakfast Sunday, May 8 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The first 75 mothers will receive a rose bush in honor of Mothers Day. Omelets are made-to-order along with pork sausage, hash browns, toast, juice, milk, and coffee. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children. Proceeds to benefit the Delano American Legion baseball program.

The City of Delano is nearing completion on the west side flood protection project, parts of which have been in the planning stages for decades.
